Mark Kelly is a strategic business development and marketing professional with 15+ years’ experience within the Meetings and Events World, and has established revenue generating relationships with clients and industry stakeholders alike, attributing to his success (with some of the World’s leading companies in their respective fields and industries including clients such as the Ontario Science Centre, CN Tower, Cineplex Entertainment and IMG.
As an award-winning true event architect, Mark enjoys consulting clients on conceptualization of an event from inception right through to its successful culmination especially those with an altruistic feel.
Passionate and creative, channeling his inner Indiana Jones, Mark has excelled in identifying opportunities for growth in the design/implementation of innovative, revenue-generating Omni channel marketing campaigns, specifically, for Corporate Canada, Association and Non-Profit based organizations helping them achieve their objectives exceeding sales goals and driving their bottom line.
The very same passion Mark displays is in his professional life is one also mirrored in his personal one. In his spare time, Mark puts his active imagination to work and writes stories for kids teaching real-life principles in an entertaining and engaging way to encourage self-confidence, strength of character and respect for all. Much of Mark’s literary work revolves around a conviction that youth are fundamental to positive progression and the foundation for systemic positive change.
Mark is also a huge advocate for the power of sport and its transformational benefits for youth empowerment. In fact, Mark’s passion for the beautiful game “Football” or “Soccer” as it is known on these shores can be traced back twenty years as a competitive player, coach and referee. Mark’s experience as captain at both youth and adult level has demonstrated his excellence in leadership, effective communication and teamwork—the very tenet that you are only as strong as the sum of the parts.
When not on the pitch or in the office, Mark he can be found searching out that next bespoke two button with a can’t miss silhouette, supporting the arts, or channeling his free spirit through travel. Be it penning his next chapter or in the boardroom, Mark believes the achievement of any goal requires a combination of experience, competence, charisma and an entrepreneurial spirit.
