Simulation Mythos: Our solution works towards providing inclusive and accessible services and resources in an engaging and interactive manner that would be conveyed through a simulation for various accessible groups as a form of entertainment. We, The Social Scientists, want to design and create a simulation that would allow users to browse through resources in an engaging and interactive solution. The simulation will revolve around current issues and will be updated periodically to match current psychological, social, and mental health issues. Due to the lack of accessibility, generalized distribution to one demographic group, and solutions of websites of resources, users from various age groups, disabled and able-bodied, working adults, learning students, and others with psychological, social, and mental health issues lack the awareness of the countless resources and services provided. Users can become aware, as our solution would be accessible to everyone through the forms of technology (app/website) and non-technical formats (infographic). We want to resolve this issue as the prototype is developed and becomes feasible to be released to the general public with current and updated resources. Our solution was designed to be accessible to all users. Resources are created by various organizations to be accessible to all. However, due to the lack of awareness, many people have a hard time or can’t access the resources available. Our product focuses on inclusivity. We aimed to include as many demographic groups. The solution is directed towards, and not limited to, disabled people, adults, students, all age groups, families, people with psychological, social, and mental health issues, and with the possibility to expand to include seniors.
