Youth Culture’s FAST-TRACK Internship Program under our Skills & Development initiative provides short-term internships* and career education to youth ages 15 to 30.

This FAST-TRACK Internship program was designed for maximum engagement incorporating elements of Hackathon-type problem-solving, professional development in the workplace, networking with industry professionals, and an opportunity to connect with others while gaining relevant short-term experience to add onto resumes.

July 20, 2023 – July 21, 2023: Technology and Innovation
August 3, 2023 – August 4, 2023: Engineering and Sustainability
August 10, 2023 – August 11, 2023: Finance and New Tech
August 17, 2023 – August 18, 2023: Urban Planning and Sustainable Living
FAST-TRACK Internship Program participants will log onto Zoom from 10:30 am until 1:30 pm EST during the date/time they are registered for. They will not only learn about specific industries and career paths, they will also learn applicable work-life skills like practicing allyship in the workplace, and principles of accessibility and inclusion.
FAST-TRACK Internship Program participants will also be divided into teams to research and present a solution to a real-world problem related to that industry. They will have an opportunity to listen to, and network with, related industry experts. The end of the week will culminate in presentations and pitches of ideas researched.
