Thanks to FIRST Robotics Canada and CanCode, Youth Culture Inc. continues our important work in AI through refining our Train the Trainer program so that leaders with Down Syndrome can teach kids and youth about AI, coding, and using technology for good. We have curated and connected a variety of resources utilizing existing online programs, LEGO Education, FLL, and innovative ideas from our team. Our goal is to reach and inspire more kids and young people, with a focus on the Down syndrome community. Through our efforts, we aim to raise awareness about AI, showcase leaders with Down syndrome as role models, and promote internet safety as an essential layer of engagement.
As technology evolves at a rapid pace, creating opportunities for meaningful participation is critical. While not everyone may fully adapt or thrive in this rapidly changing landscape, intentional efforts can open doors for greater participation, learning, and empowerment.
